Our Story

Built to provide the community of Missoula a new option for good, old-fashioned fun, the Carousel continues to entertain the children (and the adults) in our area with rides on the beautifully crafted horses as well as with family friendly events. Whether we’re helping children celebrate their special day or seeing families come together for a little playtime, we’re happy to be part of what makes Missoula so special!

A Carousel For Missoula is celebrating 30 years of generating smiles! Watch for news of our big community celebration. Details will be posted here as they are finalized!

THE CAROUSEL IS OPEN DAILY YEAR ROUND! (with the exception of Christmas Day and our annual shutdown period in January for pony and machine restoration).

Fall hours (September – mid June) 11:00 am – 5:30 pm (We may close early if hosting a private event – call to confirm)

SUMMER HOURS: (mid June -August) 11:00 AM-7:00 PM (We may close early if hosting a private event – call to confirm)

*Between September and May we operate with a very small staff – we must have advance notice if you are planning to bring a large group in order to arrange for adequate staffing to allow us to safely and efficiently accommodate you.
